Chevrolet Singapore is now offering a Chevrolet Cruze SS bodykit for their Cruze customers, which consist of front, rear and side skirts, rear spoiler, 17 inch alloy wheels with Falken tyres, and illuminated skuff plates. The kit of Chevrolet Cruze SS is priced at SG $4,980.
Now that Singapore had already getting their Chevrolet Cruze SS, we are still waiting for Malaysia’s Chevrolet Cruze which planned to be here last year but due to the fell through of GM and DRB-HICOM partnership. Now that we have a new distributer here, Naza would probably start new operations and all we need to do is wait and see. No further information are left but we would like to see the 1.8 liter engine mated with 6-speed auto and the 1.4 liter Ecotec turbo also. Of course, we can’t wait this car coming to store.
Malaysia launched the latest Lexus LS 460 range, which has just experienced a mid-life, small design changes. Two options are available in Malaysia - the LS 460L, and the new LS 460 Sport. The former is a long-wheelbase variant of the Lexus’ Sport is a Limo when the short-wheelbase version.
LS 460L is used to offer very luxurious four-seat configuration, but Lexus will now only five-seater, which can also act as a four-seater when the lid down on a thick rear center armrest with plenty of buttons to control Entertainment System (9-inch LCD screen and DVD player), and air-con. As before, the LS owners enjoy the benefits of semi-aniline leather seating in the Ottoman Massager lumbar support. Business-class style of “Butterfly” headrests are new.
The above dishes are not available in Sport, but cheaper by a short wheelbase sports car may adjust the air suspension, 19-inch forged aluminum wheels wider tires (18-inch is the LS 460L), Brembo brakes and exterior touches such as aerokit and less chrome grille. LS Sport is the owner of the drive, so it should be more support for sports seats and paddles to move eight-speed automatic transmission.

Well, last time we talk about the Cadillac XTS Platinum edition. Other than the concept of XTS, the usual price is the Cadillacs were also there, CTS Coupe, which has just been the CTS-V debut. Many North American media seem to, for example, the CTS Coupe looks like, but I do not know, blame the regional tastebuds but despite a sharp clean lines is still only looks boxy hunk of metal doors, cut into half for me. For Detroit, GM’s luxury brand, says the concept Platinum XTS, the big car applications “Cadillac Art & Science” design language, which would complete the transformation of the brand should replace the STS / DTS. XTS is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with direct injection paired with a plug-in hybrid system, which is estimated to produce 350 horsepower and 400 Nm. Concept uses AWD chassis. XTS ‘Magnetic Ride Control uses shocks controlled by magneto-rheological tech, rather than mechanical valves, which govern the body control and ride comfort.
Like the current Platinum Edition Caddys, the concept interior is full of hand-cut-and-sewn materials. XTS injects more contemporary forms and themes into the cabin, including the use of organic LED displays instead of traditional gauges and screens, which contrasts with warm wood trim. “We envisioned this concept as a car passenger headquarters using modern technology to a new level of connectivity and luxury,” says Bryan Nesbitt, GM’s Cadillac.
Detroit Motorshow is coming up soon, and Peugeot has already set up their stage for Euro-Centric Geneva exhibit coming up soon. The new Peugeot shocases their new Peugeot SR1 concept car for the first time to public, which features their new design direction for the decade.
With the new concept car up, the huge wide mouthed grille which showing the presence of Peugeot has been replaced by slimmer and sleeker look with restyled Peugeot logo. It is indeed a good looking coupe car with the hard top can be taken off for open top driving pleasure.
The Peugeot SR1 Concept are able to produce 313 horsepower peak output, hybrid engine with HYbrid4 technology combined 218 horsepower 1.6 liter THP turbo engine and rear electric motor adding another 95 horsepower. The SR1 can run in the electric motor alone with zero emission, and claimed to get 57.7mpg on the Euro combined cycle.
With regard to the SR1 power, the chasis is built with incorporating tubular structure, the mechanical components and suspension bits are mounted onto the tubular chassis, double wishbones with drop links at both front and rear, four wheel steering using motorised links and rear suspension wishbones to control over the rear wheel angles. Most people will imagine that car for India market will be as cheap hatchback as possible to be able for those who use motorbikes to turn into new four wheel transport, which is same effort like Tata Nano, the world cheapest car created in India.
But however, Toyota has teases the india-bound concept car which named Toyota Etios. Etios means ‘the origin of’ in case you are wondering to know. Although indian streets are full of Maruti Suzuki hatchbacks, the sedan car demand also not to be ignored. The concept of Toyota Etios which said to be available globally as wel, will potentially be the next generation of Toyota Vios replacement, or maybe one model which share the common platform and engine range with Vios.

Gemballa, the German Automotive tuner, which is well know by their work on Porsches, has now aimed for Ferrari models. Their latest one, Ferrari Enzo which called Gemballa MIG-U1, are one favored to super rich people, even though the basic Ferrari Enzo is the one of top expensive supercar and exclusive enough.
The Gemballa MIG-U1 detail has come out from Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group, which appear to run several automotive companies and businesses from Dubai headquarter. Previously they have worked Porsches by customizing the roof mounted air intake, interior mods, dual tone floor mat and LCD screens. They claimed that their newly Gemballa MIG-U1 will have a brand new exhaust system, sculptured fresh rear bumper and wing, new side sills, new front bumper, and also same with what offered by the previous Porsche one.
Yes you heard that right. The first Hyundai i30 registered in 2010 will manage to get a free bodykit that called “M Sport” from MS Design, which consist of front skirt, side skirt and rear skits, black plastic grill cover, twin exhaust pipes and newly designed rear bumper with plastic moulding. Proton Saga will enter the Australia Market with the name of Proton S16. The Proton S16 sedan will be on sale by 1st December 2009 for GX Manual transmission. The S16 is the latest model join up Proton Australia selling. As with the name suggested, the S16 will be powered by 110 bhp 1.6-liter Campro IAFM engine paired with five speed manual tranmission box.
The Proton S16 will features 1.6L campro IAFM engine, AM/FM/CD audio system, power steering, air conditioning, remote central locking, drivers SRS airbag, and five seating. It also cover a full three year unlimited worranty with three years free roadside assistance and 7 year anti corrosion warranty. The Proton S16 is available in five colours, which are solid white, solid red, mountain blue, tranquility black and genetic silver. Honda CR-Z is more to be anticipated CRX successor from Honda. The leaked brochure mentioned that the car will be powered by 112 horsepower from the gas engine with 12 additional ponies from the electric assist motor. It is powered by 1.5 liter gas engine, couped to 57 electric lb-ft and 107 pound-feet torque.
