
Detroit Motorshow is coming up soon, and Peugeot has already set up their stage for Euro-Centric Geneva exhibit coming up soon. The new Peugeot shocases their new Peugeot SR1 concept car for the first time to public, which features their new design direction for the decade.
With the new concept car up, the huge wide mouthed grille which showing the presence of Peugeot has been replaced by slimmer and sleeker look with restyled Peugeot logo. It is indeed a good looking coupe car with the hard top can be taken off for open top driving pleasure.
The Peugeot SR1 Concept are able to produce 313 horsepower peak output, hybrid engine with HYbrid4 technology combined 218 horsepower 1.6 liter THP turbo engine and rear electric motor adding another 95 horsepower. The SR1 can run in the electric motor alone with zero emission, and claimed to get 57.7mpg on the Euro combined cycle.
With regard to the SR1 power, the chasis is built with incorporating tubular structure, the mechanical components and suspension bits are mounted onto the tubular chassis, double wishbones with drop links at both front and rear, four wheel steering using motorised links and rear suspension wishbones to control over the rear wheel angles.
